May the Fourth is quickly approaching, and we want to put together something special to celebrate.
The reason we set aside this day to revel in our Star Wars fandom is simple: Star Wars means something to us. Since these stories are set in a massive galaxy with a vast array of different characters, what Star Wars means to you can be totally different than what it means to someone else.
We want to know YOUR answer to this question: what does Star Wars mean to you? There are countless possible answers here, and the only “correct” answer is the one that rings true in your heart. You’ll need to let the Force guide you on this one!
How can you get your answer to us? There’s a few different ways:
- Leave us a voicemail on Anchor. We have this voicemail feature on Anchor we’ve never gotten to try out yet, so we really hope you’ll send us one! You’ll have a time limit of 60 seconds, so make sure you plan accordingly and don’t get cut off!
- Send us an email. If voicemail isn’t your style, that’s okay! You can always drop us an email. You can also record an audio file on your phone or computer and send it in as an attachment.
- Leave a comment below. You don’t even have to leave the page!
- Message us on Twitter or Facebook. Oh, and if you’re not following us on either platform, now’s a good time to do it (wink, wink).
What are we going to do with these? We’ll be putting them together in a special bonus episode of the podcast that we’ll release on May 4th. This is another reason why we’d really love to get your response in a voicemail! We’d love to put it in this May 4th special episode! If you don’t want to do that, don’t fret. We’ll be happy to read text responses also.
We’ll need these by 9 PM Eastern on May 2nd in order to be able to get this put together in time. So that gives you all a little over a week to get your responses in. We hope we get enough of these to make one huge show so we can all share what makes Star Wars special for each of us, from our own certain points of view.
So get going! We hope to hear from you soon.
May the Fourth be with you!
